Student Experience
Voyager Elementary is on 17 acres and includes the William F. Banke Memorial Marsh, a wildlife area that offers students, parents, and staff the opportunity to learn about nature. The building is unique in design and arrangement, with each grade level sharing a common atrium and multi-purpose hallway. Facilities include barrier-free access to the cafeteria, gymnasium, media center, makerspace, art room, and playground. Each room is equipped with computers, presentation equipment, and Smart Board technology. Voyager teachers value connecting with students, partnering with parents, and collaborating effectively to ensure learning.
Voyager uses the Benchmark Advance reading/language arts curriculum that is centered on the science of reading, and for math, the Everyday Math curriculum is taught. The Code of Conduct (respect, responsibility, honesty, kindness, and fairness) is reinforced with a positive behavioral support system.
