THE VOYAGER PAC CONNECTIONConnecting Home and School

Parents, are you interested in becoming more involved with Voyager Elementary?  If so, please participate in our Parent Advisory Committee. We know that parents are busy and cannot attend every activity meeting, so just come when you can.  The Voyager Connection helps connect parents to school.

The Voyager PAC has a long history of organizing our two big Activity Nights:  the Spring Fling and Bingo For Books Night.  The focus of these nights is two-fold:  1) provide an opportunity for families to meet in the school setting for a night of fun, and 2) raise funds for Voyager students.  The funds raised from these nights go back to students to offset field trip costs and purchase special “targeted needs.”  For example, we purchased the dock that extends into our William Banke Memorial Marsh with PAC funds.

In addition, our PAC has helped organize Teacher Appreciation Dinners during conferences in October and February.  This thoughtful gesture is much appreciated by our teachers during a very busy time.

We meet once a month on Tuesdays at 6:30 PM in the VES Media Center. Watch the Voyager Newsletter for meeting dates.
